Traci Park for LA City Council announced accumulating over $200,000 in the first campaign filings since her announcement for Council District 11. Together with city-provided matching funds, Park’s total stands at over $360,000, after just six months of campaigning.
“I am so grateful to each and every one of the CD 11 residents and others who have invested in my campaign, whether financially or with their time and dedication,” said Park. ” Voters in this district want a new leader with the experience to bring real change, and the independence to actually represent the people of the Westside, and I am proud to be leading a grassroots movement to bring about that change.”
“Traci entered this race as a first-time candidate taking on an entrenched incumbent. New entrants to this race have all spent years, if not decades, enmeshed with the same establishment interests that have failed the City, and their plans for CD 11 are merely more of the same,” said Park consultant Robb Korinke.
Traci Park grew up in Southern California. Her family was devoted to public service. Her stepfather worked for the school district where her mother also served as school union president for more than 20 years.
A practicing attorney for 20 years, Traci advises and represents businesses and public entities, including cities, counties, and other agencies throughout the State of California. She works on the forefront of the most pressing municipal and business issues in our State, which positions her well to be an influential and respected member of the LA City Council. She is also a fierce community advocate fighting to restore public safety and accountability in local government.
