Traci In The Pink!
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Traci is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation. When elected, Traci will fight to ensure every woman in Los Angeles has access to the screenings they need and the healthcare they deserve.
Women Leaders Choose Traci

Among the women joining Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, State Treasurer Fiona Ma, and the NWPC LA Westside is former Congresswoman Yvonne Burke, the first African American woman to represent the West Coast in Congress. Burke, a former Los Angeles County Supervisor, is currently a member of the Amtrak Board of Directors.
Upon receiving Burke’s endorsement, Traci said: “I am humbled to receive the support from Yvonne Burke, someone who has been a pillar in public service in Los Angeles and a trail-blazer for African-American women.”
Traci also received the endorsement of Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, Chair of the Public Safety Committee, who said of Traci: “One of the single most important responsibilities we have as public servants is to ensure safe streets in neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Traci will be an important public safety partner who will work tirelessly to ensure greater accountability and response to directly address the needs of her district, regardless of what zip code you live in.”
In response to Councilwoman Rodriguez’s endorsement announcement, Traci said: “Addressing the City’s substantial increase in crime and supporting law enforcement are fundamental priorities once elected to City Council. Many public places in CD11, like many other parts of LA, have become unsafe for residents and visitors alike. This cannot continue. I look forward to working with Councilwoman Rodriguez and the City Council to address the City’s pressing public safety needs to ensure residents can live and raise a family in a safe neighborhood environment.”
Former CD11 Candidate Mike Newhouse Endorses Traci
It’s not just celebrated women leaders who are endorsing Traci. She also picked up the endorsement of former CD11 candidate, Mike Newhouse, who announced his support in the Westside Current.
“I think Traci’s approach is going to be a lot better for the district,” said Newhouse. “I also think Traci probably has a better ability to try to get all sides in Venice to the table to discuss and solve issues that need attention in the district.”
“The idea is to move forward and to try to craft a more moderate centrist common sense approach to solving homelessness. I think Erin’s strategy is not to change the course. I think Traci’s approach is to completely go in a different direction that encompasses a combination of not only building more housing, making more treatment available, making more shelter available, but also enforcing existing anti-camping ordinances we have.”

Recovery Advocate Tom Wolf Endorses Traci
Traci is pleased to be endorsed by Tom Wolf, a formerly homeless addict who now advocates for recovery-based solutions to homelessness. Tom’s personal journey is fascinating, and Traci looks forward to collaborating with him on approaches to homelessness, addiction, and drug policy.
Announcing his endorsement, Wolf stated: “I have seen firsthand how the current approach in CD11 is failing the community. In order to solve the growing homeless and drug crises, it will take all of us working together. Traci Park is committed to working with public health, law enforcement, elected leaders, and community stakeholders to secure housing, expand shelter, and fund treatment while respecting public safety for all. As an advocate for recovery, I can’t think of a better person to represent CD11 than Traci Park.”
What’s Going On Behind The Scenes With Erin Darling’s Most Powerful Endorser?
Traci’s opponent, Mr. Erin Darling, is suddenly trying to distance himself from the powerful incumbent Councilman, Mike Bonin, who has endorsed Mr. Darling in this race. Despite initially claiming that he was proud to have Mr. Bonin’s endorsement and praising Mr. Bonin’s policies, Mr. Darling has since removed Mr. Bonin’s endorsement from his campaign literature being distributed in the community. But, Mr. Darling’s own campaign manager reveals they are in “constant communication” with Mr. Bonin. Don’t be fooled – we can’t afford more of the same.
Spending Time With Older Adults
At Avenir, the first newly-built memory care facility in Los Angeles, she met with residents and received a tour of the home.
